The Common Chow was a rebranding project for the food pantries on the Eastern Washington University's Campus. This project was part of an Advanced Visual Communication Design class.
The goal of the project was to successfully re-brand The EWU Food Pantry, which included coming up with a new name, as well as, a new logo. Above this the logo, that was created to achieve this goal. The name Common Chow was chosen because food insecurtiy is such a common trend among college students and that's the issue the food pantries are trying to address. The simple clean aesthetic was made to feel modern and sleek, in order to make the user feel like they are part of something greater and nicer, not just a food bank.
Below are the different maps that were created to show the many food pantry locations. It was requested that we make a simple map, a map for tv screens, and a map for a postcard.

Below are Instagram posts that were made to notify students of s variety of food opportunities that the food pantry hosts in order to help promote themselves.
Below are sticker options for the food pantry to use as a promotional hand out at events or to use to help spread awareness of  the food pantries. One goal that I wanted to establish throughout this project was to make sure the symbol in the logo is on majority of the projects to help establish the brand and make it more recognizable in the future.
